We installed a RV550 EC in a remote Maine cabin with solar power.. It would not consistently ignite and/or burn continuously..No RV repair would come that far.. There was no cell coverage.I followed the service manual but got no results. I was ready to take it to the recycling center, a victim of high tech. But I called Ray Jordan at PrecisionTemp..
He clearly walked me through how to test and adjust the ignitor and vacuum switch. With an allen wrench set and multimeter I followed his directions and BINGO we have consistent and continuous HOT water. The unit may be pricey but you get Ray Jordan as well. That free available expert is worth the price.. We love the unit now that it is working perfectly after Ray’s clear and simple instructions.
